How to Make a Coastal Centerpiece
Whether you’re dreaming up a centerpiece for beachy nuptials or setting your summer table, this stunningly fresh design creates a relaxing, sun-kissed scene.
Step 1: Start with Glass Hurricanes
Add height and scale to your table with sizable hurricanes. Fill them with small beach finds, like seaglass and seashells, or get a summer glow with the dancing flicker of flameless candles.
Step 2: Add Succulents and Driftwood
Lay down pieces of washed-ashore driftwood around your hurricanes, then tuck in succulents and greenery in between. For an all-season-long centerpiece, try faux botanicals that are reminiscent of the California coastline, like echeverias and air plants.
Step 3: Finish it with Glass Spheres and Votives
Soften things up with recycled glass accents that appear tumbled by the sea. Spherical shapes are a nice contrast to the cylindrical hurricanes, and have the look and feel of vintage glass buoys.
Creating a swoon-worthy centerpiece is as easy as 1-2-3,
